I’m a strange bird. Or at least most people would thing so.
I feel a great deal of compassion for Seung-Hui Cho. This does not reduce my compassion for his victims, nor my disapproval of his actions. But, this was a sad event, a tragedy carried out by a very troubled and suffering person.
It breaks my heart to think of people left behind grieving for their loved ones.
It goes to show how we are each completely at the mercy of each other, how we depend upon the goodness of those around us to keep us safe from harm and how connected we are to one another.
